Students will be introduced to four areas of golf:
-
-
Putting - basic mechanics (short and medium length putts)
-
Chipping - basic mechanics (when close to the green - getting the ball up onto the green)
-
Full Swing - basic mechanics and movements in the swing (on the range)
- Pitching - basic mechanics (slightly further from the pin/flag - getting the ball up in the air)
-
In these four areas, students will learn how to: hold the club; set-up properly; and how to make a swing/stroke with the appropriate club. Other topics to be introduced are: useful golf term, etiquette, basic club selection (what and when to use different clubs) and basic rules.
NOTE: The clinic is on Saturday mornings.
